Write With Me On The Albanian Riviera
Albania! The next best thing. Warm, friendly, safe… Offering… 6-day writing retreats in the lovely Sarande, steps from the sea. Featuring daily 3-hour generative writing sessions led with the generous Amherst Writers & Artists Method.
While the focus is on writing, this retreat offers a marvellous opportunity to explore the wonders of this coastal town with its modern Mediteranean flavour, and rich Ottoman and Roman history.
The schedule is simple: We meet each morning for guided writing practice in my apartment. The rest is up to you! There are many inexpensive dining options to discover together, or you can set off on your own.
Corfu is a 30 minute ferry from Sarande.
Tirana is the only ariport in Albania, about 3 hours from Sarande, so each particpant will arrange their own transportation and accommodation. The good news is that Albania is expremely affordable once you get there!
