In episode 14, I talked with Katherine Sanford, an award-winning author who attended a writing retreat that helped her kickstart the book that had been in her head for awhile.

We chatted about how she came to the Birth A Book Writing Retreat not understanding the process of creative writing and leaving with a sense of direction that helped her continue working on her book after the retreat was over.

We also talked about going into any type of retreat with an open mind and not being afraid to do things that make your uncomfortalbe or learning to think a different way about the writing process.

Katherine brought up a great point about there being so many types of writing retreats that you can attend different ones bases on where you're at in your writing journey and what you need from a retreat at that time.
