Tuscany Writing Retreat, May 10 - 17, 2025 OR May 18 - 24, 2025
Join Kathryn Kay and a small group of like-minded women writers for a magical week in the heart of Italy. Together, we’ll explore the region, share our words, and grow as writers. You won’t just bring home a new passport stamp; you’ll return with a new body of work, attainable next-steps, and a heart bursting with newfound inspiration.
What could be better for your writing than getting away from the stresses of everyday life and writing to your heart’s content? This retreat welcomes women writers of all ages, genres, and levels of experience.
Each morning, we will explore the craft of writing through plot, dialogue, characterization, imagery, and more. As you become curious about story ideas, inspirations, and blocks. As a reward for your hard work, you will enjoy a buffet lunch on one of the villa’s terraces. Your afternoon will either be free to do as you please, relax/write/explore, or a professionally guided excursion will be scheduled.
Additional writing sessions will be scheduled on afternoons without excursions and Kathryn will schedule a private consultation with you to discuss your work on one of your free afternoons. The retreat also includes a second consultation via phone with Kathryn at some point post-retreat.
